Back to the Ferndale Insider's Guide
Known by most as “The WAB”, this local favorite occupies 2 levels of a building that formerly housed a dance studio – and before that, a massage parlor. These days they come for the social scene, the brews and the grub. Specialty beers are brewed on-site. Food is nothing fancy. But the half-off Monday nights have become an event that draws a consistently young and vibrant crowd. You can take your pick of upstairs or downstairs, both are casual and decorated with old license plates. Upstairs you’ll find wood floors, a great jukebox, and multi-level seating – some with great views of the street below. Downstairs is smaller and can get chilly in the winter. In the summer the 2 large garage-door sized entryways open up onto their sidewalk café. For more reviews go
