I decided to open WalkerSearchGroup, after leaving my job as an Operations Manager at Xerox (a job I held for over 10 years). My husband, Greg Walker, has been in the staffing industry for over 20 years. He is the co-owner of MTS Driver Recruiters in Southfield, MI. Greg was extremely instrumental in helping to launch WalkerSearchGroup, since he had an intricate view of the staffing industry. I always enjoyed building highly skilled/ productive teams and the sourcing process that went into finding the perfect hire for a customer. As an output of my love for business and networking, I launched WalkerSearchGroup. It is extremely satisfying to find someone a job that suits their skillset and an environment that they are excited about. It is great to be in an industry (given the current economic climate) that actually helps business owners and talented individuals meet their goals.
